i HATE forever21, i'm very against what they do to fashion is every way. i do get why people shop there, but it's not for me. whenever my friend reina makes me go i sit outside haha. growing up in pasadena i only liked to shop in old town. i always loved going in the planet blue store (it's gone now). they always has the best clothes and i'd walk around and wish i could have every piece. they were the best store by far in the area. it's crazy to see how big they are now, back then it was a small boutique. with that said they have the best stylist/ photographer duo i have seen! i am absolutely in love with their holiday campaign. and how cute is there model? she looks like a sexy version of taylor swift... and not so annoying.

you know when you wake up the next morning with that awful empty helpless feeling after someone you love has died, or been hurt? i've had that feeling since i woke up friday morning. since i can remember i have loved everything about japan (i'm a huge hello kitty fan). i've been twice and love it there so much, i actually come home and feel empty. there's no place on earth like it. the people in japan are so amazing and so sweet! my heart is breaking for these people and i can't believe this has happened. i've never written anything serious on this blog and i hate to jump on the bandwagon, but this is something i truly care a lot about. i've already donated money and i hope anyone who reads this will do the same. all you have to do is pick up your phone and text REDCROSS to 90999 it's just $10. i won't post the heartbreaking photos, we've all seen them from the news. here are some of my fisheye photos i took last time i was there.

have you ever seen rumor has it? the movie is based in pasadena and there's a quote from it "it's a pasadena thing". a MOJOR pasadena thing is the rose parade, people from pasadena live for this around new years and it's more weird to not be there then to be there. growing up it was a must do! i loved it so much and when it was over i'd drag my babysitter to pluck all the flowers off the float. as i got older the rose parade seemed so boring to me, i hadn't gone or seen it in years... until this year. my bff went with her family and i came along. for some reason when she asked if i wanted to come she thought i'd say no, but it was a quick YES. i haven't lived in pasadena for 5/6 years now and when i said i was there orange county people thought it was crazy i was there and then i thought... it's a pasadena thing. it made me feel like a kid again, getting so excited when a new float was approaching or soooo grossed out when the horses started peeing (we were right on the curb as you can see in photos) anyways on to the photos, sorry there are over three months old.

Looking at these photos is making me miss the sunny days... but then again I love this gloomy weather. I love waking up and deciding to go on an adventure and that is what we did! A little thrift shopping in San Diego and then we ate ay lucha libre. This is one of my new favorite places to eat!!! If you haven't been you must go!!! Not only is the food fucking amazing but the deco of the place is so fun. Check out their website here. I suggest the corn, surfin california burrito (hello french fries inside!), and the flan was yummy too. My mouth is now watering......

Uuum better late than never? I finally have a membership to Costco which happens to be the best place to develop photos SO more photos for now on =)

Back on to Nike, this was a really fun event I was invited to and brought my friend Ann along. It was held at The Montalban Theater where Nike had the World Cup showing. It was really fun to watch the game on a huge screen + there was free drink! I hope they have more events like this soon!
